We love to dress up for special occasions whether it be for a wedding, a much-anticipated holiday or a cocktail party. But no one has event wear mastered like the Aussies. As much as it pains me to say this as a Kiwi, (not really), they just have a knack for pulling an outfit together that makes a real statement. Having lives in the UK for over 10 years I struggled with shopping g for event wear when I was invited to all the social events I used to go to before kids sucked every last adult activity out of my calendar.
